Ferries

There are two ferry crossings.

Oban-Craignure (45
minutes, booking essential),
Lochaline-Fishnish (To
get to Lochaline you're best to cross the Corran Ferry unless you live
in north-west Scotland. It's a longer drive from the south and
you can't book, but it is a bit cheaper.) |
Parking Space
for two cars off the road in a private lay-by beside the house.
Public Transport A
bus service runs from Craignure to Iona Ferry, passing the end of the short
road down to the house. Bunessan Post Office Stores (see under "Shops")
will be able to help with fares and times. It would be fair to say, however,
that your holiday would be very restricted in its scope without a car.
